We live in a time when the moral elite and political correctness try to draw the lines of what’s right and what isn’t. We’re bombarded with rules about what’s appropriate, being told what’s acceptable to watch, enjoy, and even think. It seems that anything escaping their standards becomes something forbidden, something we’re meant to avoid. They tell us it’s for our own good, but deep down, we know this censorship is just an attempt to control.

In this era of so-called freedoms, today’s governments, much like the church once did, seek to impose their vision of a perfect and proper world. They speak of freedom, but it’s a freedom designed to fit into their vision, restricting what they find uncomfortable or improper. In the end, it’s the same attempt at control and uniformity, just with new rules and new narratives.
