Authority is the attribute that gives a person, position, or profession the right to give orders. It is also the quality that ensures that an order is followed. Therefore, having authority means both giving commands and being obeyed. This authority, within a social consensus, is based on a legitimate recognition of those who demand it; Politicians, judges, police officers, as well as bosses, teachers, and parents, among others, are figures of authority.
But authority can also be lost, either through misuse or abuse, or through a lack of legitimacy. Authority is based on values and principles accepted by the majority, and it is forced to uphold them and set an example.
When a misuse of authority is combined with the fact that this new society is raised with the idea that the world revolves around the individual, and constantly bombarded with messages of freedom and rights, it causes them to perceive authority as a figure of repression, losing respect for it.

Neighborhood associations and unions have violently welcomed the visitors of the real estate fair held these days in Barcelona (SPAIN). The police had to intervene to disperse the protesters.

There are people who seem to live with a stick up their ass. Bitter people who are just waiting for the slightest thing to jump and cause trouble.
A couple of pedestrians pick a fight with some construction workers on the street. Look at these two who are annoyed having to navigate obstacles to be on the sidewalk and take it on the workers.

Apparently some wedding celebration ended in a pub in Newport, Rhode Island. One of the guests messed things up inside and was expelled from the premises. The security notified the police and when they arrived, part of the family got into a fight with the police.
When you don't know how to stop and calm your wife down, she hits a police officer and the police officer hits her back, you have no choice but to hit the officer to defend her or sleep on the couch for the rest of the year.

A small party of skinheads was making trouble around town and they unexpectedly ran into another party of bad motherfuckers; the group somehow felt disturbed by the skinheads' attitude so they decided to face them. Urban poetry in its purest form.

As we saw a couple of weeks ago with the Roy Nelson videos, having a big gut and a saggy body doesn't exclude you from kicking ass like a boss. This time we'll have a look at Tai Tuivasa and how he knocks out his opponents with his not-so-fit body.

Rosa Parks, for those who don't remember her, was an African American activist and important figure in the civil rights movement in the United States. She was that woman who decided not to get up and give her seat to a white man on a bus. This gesture led to a change in laws regarding non-discrimination based on race. Rosa Parks was not the first person to rebel against unjust rules, but her circumstances led her to become the “mother of the civil rights movement.”
This video, recorded recently on a train car in The Hague, made me remember her.

According to the news, Evariste Touadera, son of the President of the Central African Republic Faustin-Archange Touadera, has been recorded violently beating two health workers in Kislovodsk, a town located in southern Russia.
Evariste arrived two weeks ago, joined by a delegation of psychologists and a therapist, to receive re-education treatment. It seems that things are not working very well for him.
