This weekend the expected fight between the Moroccan-Dutch Badr Hari and the British Alistair Overeem took place, which resulted in the victory of Overeem.
In my opinion, technically Badr Hari was far superior, but he was going through a rough patch and Alistair Overeem is a give and take machine. A good punch from any of these would certainly knock your teeth out.
After the defeat, 37-years-old Badr Hari (after chaining 7 consecutive defeats) grabbed the microphone to announce his possible retirement.
Hari and Overeem had met twice before in the ring, with Overeem knocking Hari out in their initial encounter at K-1 Premium Dynamite!! back in 2008.
Hari got his revenge a year later, knocking out Overeem in the 2009 K-1 World Grand Prix Semifinals.
