On September 28, 2024, during PFL Europe 3 in Glasgow, Scotland, Lewis McGrillen and Dean Garnett delivered one of the most epic fights in Professional Fighters League (PFL) history. In under 12 minutes, the bout saw an astonishing 14 knockdowns, leaving fans and analysts in awe.

McGrillen started strong, knocking Garnett down three times in the opening moments. Although Garnett responded with a knockdown of his own, McGrillen kept up the pressure with powerful strikes. Finally, in the third round, McGrillen landed a decisive left hook, knocking Garnett out and securing the victory.

This clash has been hailed as one of the greatest in PFL history and a clear "Fight of the Year" candidate. Its intensity and the sheer number of knockdowns highlighted the high level of competition in PFL Europe.
