In its beginnings, steampunk emerged as a literary subgenre within the realm of speculative science fiction in the 1980s, propelled by renowned writers in the cyberpunk field. This genre merges technological and retro-futuristic aesthetic elements, primarily inspired by 19th-century steam machinery, though not exclusively. Over time, steampunk has evolved beyond its literary roots to become an artistic and sociocultural movement.
In the steampunk setting, a retro-futuristic vision prevails where steam-based technology takes precedence, relegating electrical engineering to a secondary role. This aesthetic is often set in Victorian England, and although it is based on historical elements, it is not uncommon to find influences from science fiction and fantasy.

GRACIA BON'S MASSIVE BOOTY

When I saw the first video accompanying this post, I thought it was an AI-generated clip. Those hips, that booty, compared to the upper part of her body, just don’t seem to match. But no, it turns out it's actually the plus-size Panamanian model Gracia Bon, a woman who’s carrying more fat in her hips than the exhaust fan at your neighborhood Chinese restaurant.

Gracia claims her body is natural, and to support this, she shares some old photos on her IG where you can already see those hips. But what she hasn’t considered is that, thanks to those same photos, it’s pretty clear she’s had breast augmentations, tummy tucks, and liposuctions galore.

Now, I’m not saying that’s wrong—everyone is free to do whatever they want with their body—but don’t preach body positivity when you’re altering your body to fit your ideal image. Gracia’s done all that, but she hasn’t touched her hips because she knew that’s what would sell, and that’s what made her famous. She has more than 8 million followers on IG, and you can imagine what that means financially.

AN AI-CREATED MODEL GOES VIRAL AFTER SOME MEDIA OUTLETS MISTAKE HER FOR REAL

Two weeks ago, the Grand Prix was held in Zandvoort, where many images of the atmosphere and the people present were shared. One of the photos that went viral featured a supposed model named Emma Lewis, wearing a Red Bull shirt. However, upon closer inspection, it becomes clear that Emma isn’t real but rather a model generated by artificial intelligence (AI).

In reality, many of these "models" seen on social media during events like this don’t physically exist; they are created by AI through specialized companies like AHMV Studio. This phenomenon has sparked a debate about the future of virtual influencers and the impact of artificial intelligence on the marketing industry.
While AI models are gaining popularity, experts believe that marketing with both real and virtual models will coexist for some time, as the technology has not yet fully matured.

AI COMES TO ADD, NOT SUBTRACT

There are many people who are hesitant about images of naked women created by artificial intelligence (AI), feeling that it’s some form of intrusion into a space that has always belonged to real women. And yes, I agree that nothing can equal a real woman, but why all the reluctance? AI-generated images aren’t here to replace real people, and they never will. There will always be women willing, whether for pleasure or money, to undress in front of a camera or participate in sexual scenes.

So why so much aversion to AI-generated images? Why fear the future that this technology could bring? The possibilities that AI opens up are practically endless, and as technology advances, the quality and realism of these images will only improve. AI allows you to explore what would otherwise be impossible, like creating surreal scenes, participating in fantasies with celebrities, or even generating scenarios with people from your own life—something that could never happen in reality.

Beyond the limitations of the physical world, AI gives you the freedom to materialize any desire or idea without putting anyone at risk. It’s a tool that, when used well, can expand imagination and allow people to explore fantasies that would otherwise remain just dreams. Doesn’t it seem exciting to think about the possibilities this could offer? Instead of resisting progress, maybe we should explore the new doors it opens.
