Today, people are more open, more curious, and thankfully, there’s less stigma around it. That doesn’t mean it didn’t happen before—just that no one said it out loud.
From a sociological or anthropological angle, it makes sense: we live fast-paced, high-pressure lives, and everyone finds their own way to cope. For some it’s running, for others it’s snacking, and for others, it’s a quick solo session.
