Judges are often accused of not stopping fights in time, but there are situations in which a hasty decision can "steal" a fighter's victory.
You see this a lot in movies; The protagonist is receiving a beating and he seems to be losing, but all of the sudden he gets a flashback of his friend in the hospital receiving a beating at the hands of his adversary or he pictures his wife and son cheering him on from the stands. That's when he gets an extra strength boost and starts turning things around.
Rocky, Bruce Lee, Van Damme. I'm wondering the ending of their movies in a scenario where the judge just decides to cancel the fight.

TOURISTS GET BEATEN UP AFTER STARTING A FIGHT IN PATTAYA

A violent brawl broke out in Pattaya’s Soi 6 nightlife district after a group of tourists, reportedly from Europe, got into it with some local Thai guys on Saturday night. According to witnesses, the tourists had been drinking heavily and started provoking people —insulting and pushing locals until things escalated into a full-on street fight. The tourists were quickly overpowered and ended up laid out on the ground before security and police could step in. They were treated on the spot and later taken to the hospital.

Local media reported that one of the tourists harassed a female employee and even poured beer over a bouncer’s head.

STREET JUSTICE

Taking justice into your own hands is rarely a good idea. Skipping the legal process can spiral fast, even if your intentions are solid. There are no clear rules, and what starts as self-defense can easily cross the line.
But still… there are moments when it’s hard to blame someone. When people witness something awful —a robbery, an attack— and choose to step in, instinct often takes over. It might not be the “right” thing, but in the heat of the moment, anger and helplessness speak louder than the law.
This isn’t about justifying it —but sometimes, the line between protecting and going too far gets blurry. Really blurry.

FROM TOLERANCE TO VIOLENCE IN THE BLINK OF AN EYE

A pro-life girl hits the streets with a mic to do some interviews. One woman happily agrees, smiles, seems open-minded... all good — until the questions don’t quite match her views. The smile fades, the tension builds, and suddenly — punch. And this isn’t a one-off. Not long ago we saw the exact same scene: a pro-life guy asking questions about abortion, a woman stops with her daughter, answers for a bit… and then assaults him. Same pattern, different setting.
What’s striking —or rather worrying— is the kind of people behind these reactions. The ones who claim to be open, respectful, tolerant, champions of dialogue, love, and “live and let live.” But the moment someone disagrees, boom — fuse lit. And instead of arguments, they go straight to violence.

We’re sold a narrative of freedom and tolerance, but if you don’t fit the mold, if you challenge the approved ideas, you’re suddenly the “enemy.” And that, my friend, isn’t tolerance. That’s just dogma with a new label.
