It would be very daring on my part to judge American society without going through the things they have to go through, but the images that circulate around the world leave the USA in a very bad place. Between a senile president who should be in a nursing home instead of ruling what was supposed to be the world's leading power (at least until recent times), very biased policies, many of them aimed at benefiting minorities and providing them with more rights than the rest of the mortals, and an apparently wild population spiralling out of control, the truth is that they do not project the prettiest image to the rest of the world. I can also tell you that if things continue to go like this, the rest of the West is going headlong towards making the same mistakes.

For a few years now, California decriminalized petty crimes, such as non-violent robberies for amounts less than $950, in theory to combat drug addiction (?) and reduce the prison population, so the establishments let them do their thing because, in the scenario where store staff would try to stop the person trying to steal, they could be exposed to injury-related lawsuits.

And I wonder, in the face of such grotesque scenes and in the face of this social setback in which we are involved, is this not a strategy to get tougher in the not too distant future and thereby take away our freedoms?
- Gentlemen, you are already seeing how bad things are going, civilization as we knew it is collapsing. Those years of prosperity and security are coming to an end, so we must take extreme measures to control and subdue the population, for the common good: Chips, curfews, social control, etc. We have given people liberties and look how that worked out. You don't know how to take care of yourself. People need strict laws that direct them and set the new course, for their own good, for the good of their children in order to put an end to all the social scourge that runs rampant. Look at the world you're giving your children. Do they really want this? But don't worry, we know how to fix it. We will take care of you.
And now get in line and pick up your uniform. People will be assigned a number and a job position. People will be marked with a chip on the neck that will contain all the necessary information to classify them as a good citizen. For the good of all, any act not contemplated in the new constitution will be punished with the death penalty.

MID-AIR COLLISION INVOLVING THE FRENCH AEROBATIC TEAM

On March 25, two Alpha Jets from the Patrouille de France—the French Air Force’s aerobatic display team—collided mid-air during a training exercise near Air Base 113 in Saint-Dizier, eastern France. The two jets were performing maneuvers alongside four other aircraft when the incident occurred.

Both pilots and a passenger managed to eject in time and were found conscious. One of the jets crashed into a silo, causing an explosion, while the other went down in a nearby wooded and marshy area.

Authorities praised the pilots’ professionalism, claiming their actions prevented greater harm to civilians. But if you watch the footage, the story looks very different: the pilots eject instantly, bailing out as soon as the collision happens. They didn’t control anything—and realistically, it’s doubtful they even could in that situation. The fact that no one else was hurt seems more like pure luck than skilled maneuvering.

It's not entirely clear what's going on here. It might seem like the police car was chasing the other vehicle, but if you pay close attention, at the beginning of the video, there's another white car making the same move, exiting at the same spot. So maybe the driver realized he was blocking the police car and was just trying to get out of the way by taking the same exit. Who knows? Both possibilities seem valid. Whatever the case, the driver certainly isn't stopping to ask the officer if he's okay—he probably doesn't want to end up taking the blame himself.
