The photographer behind the label jlrimages was featured in a post in 2014—almost 10 years ago! However, since that post was linked to his Tumblr account, and Tumblr went downhill a long time ago, it's as if we never featured him at all.

On that note, Tumblr stands out as one of the biggest failures on the internet. Tumblr was created by New Yorker David Karp in 2007 and quickly became the leading microblogging platform of the time. Karp sold Tumblr to Yahoo for $1.1 billion—yes, a whopping $1.1 billion! In a short period, Yahoo destroyed Tumblr by implementing brutal censorship policies, prohibiting the publication of adult content of any kind. This led to a massive decline in users and creators. Eventually, Yahoo sold Tumblr for a few million dollars.

So, I just stumbled upon some photos by jlrimages on the internet and thought it would be a good idea to create a new post, saving some of his photos on my server this time. Yes, I know. I'm the fucking best.
