The legend tells that every 100 lunar months, between crescent and waning moon, sea creatures come from the deep waters with human looks in order to allure unwary men and, after practising certain sexual rituals, devour their internal organs, perpetuating their existence.
I have a calendar with Moon phases and have been going to the coast for some years, but I've never come across them.
