BLOCKING A STREET IN THE CITY
Daos:
The Government of Catalonia (and many labor unions and associations) called for a general strike today. It was convoked two weeks ago, but after Sunday's police actions, now they kill two birds with one shot: on one side they want to support the independence and, on the other side, protest against the repression suffered by Catalan people. The strike's having quite a big impact. Protests everywhere, pickets, the main streets and roads blocked... Blocking a street requires several people, but some don't need any help...
We have to consider a little detail too... Pickets, like any picket, have "forced" people to close their stores, imposing their ideas and motives... And that's exactly what Spain's Government is complaining about.
BTW, it looks like the "Mossos d'Esquadra" (Catalan police) has been absolved of their own sins. Nobody remembers when...
