LIVE ACTION TRAILER OF MORTAL KOMBAT 1 FEATURING DAVE BAUTISTA

Warner Bros Games has released a live-action trailer for Mortal Kombat 1 starring Dave Bautista and inspired by the live-action trailer of "Mortal Monday" from 1993. It shows the Guardians of the Galaxy star (who played Drax the Destroyer) walking around and convincing people to fight to the death.

FRIENDSHIPS ARE BACK

Due to the controversy Mortal Kombat's Fatalities, and with the intention of mocking the outrage of many parents who claimed that the game was too violent for their children, in Mortal Kombat II they decided to implement the Friendship, where the player could choose between finishing their rival or, thanks to fulfilling a series of conditions and using a combination of buttons, applying a Friendship, where the character could perform different acts of friendship and goodwill towards their opponent such as giving them a gift, blowing bubbles, making an origami or turning into a snowman.
Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, in 1995, was the last version of the game that came with the Friendship option, but now, given the continued infantilization of society and the harshness and gore of Fatalities, they have decided to incorporate them again.
