In soccer slang, a dive is the action in which a player voluntarily falls spectacularly to the ground, pretending to have been knocked down at fault by an opponent, in order to deceive the referee and gain an unfair advantage.
Dives not only occur on the soccer field, outside, in the street, they are also usually common.

In San Sebastián (Spain), people on the street managed to subdue and disarm a man who was carrying a huge knife. The first brave person ended up getting a few stabs.

Sean Strickland (Former UFC champion) was challenged by a Navy SEAL for a sparring competition after Strickland said that Navy SEALs were delusional for thinking they could beat him. Strickland claimed that, although special forces know how to fight, it's ridiculous to think they could beat him in a fistfight. A Navy SEAL named Jimmy Watson responded, saying that even the weakest SEAL would destroy him in a street fight.
Strickland accepted the challenge but couldn't get in contact with Watson. Months later, Strickland finally had a sparring match with Mitch Aguiar, an ex-Navy SEAL. Strickland showed the difference between regular fighters and a former champion.
During the fight, Strickland threw powerful punches that cornered Aguiar against the cage. Despite his defeat, Aguiar endured a brutal beating without giving up, getting up again and again, thus demonstrating his incredible mental toughness.

It's understandable that when someone gets startled, they might respond physically. Being scared triggers an instinctive defense reaction, and the annoyance of being the target of a prank can sometimes cause someone to act aggressively. What's interesting here is that the prankster, who is already bothering people with his jump scares, responds with violence when someone doesn't take the joke well.

Some people turn a minor incident into something much worse simply because they can’t control their anger. Instead of acting calmly or letting things go, they overreact. This lack of restraint clearly shows that not everyone understands what living in a society entails.

Jealousy in relationships is often harmful because it can create a toxic environment and erode the trust between partners. When jealousy becomes excessive or uncontrollable, it breeds insecurities and suspicion, which over time can weaken the emotional connection. Constant jealousy can also lead to controlling behaviors, like monitoring a partner’s actions or limiting their freedom, making the other person feel trapped or suffocated.
In the long run, jealousy can affect the mental health of both individuals, causing anxiety, stress, and feelings of inadequacy. It also makes honest and open communication difficult, as the jealous person might resort to accusations or defensive behavior, while the other partner may feel frustrated or exhausted from constantly having to explain or justify themselves.

Watching others fight attracts us because it triggers intense sensations and activates primitive instincts of survival and competition. We’re curious to see how conflicts are resolved, and they offer us a safe way to experience strong emotions without directly facing them.
