As I said yesterday, YouTube is full of tutorials. You can learn all kind of occupations. Carpenter, designer, karateka. If Daniel San had known YouTube, he wouldn't have needed Miyagi.

But, as everything else, there's a hard competition and you need tricks to attract users and get them to watch your videos.

THE VIOLENT BUSHMAN

It's understandable that when someone gets startled, they might respond physically. Being scared triggers an instinctive defense reaction, and the annoyance of being the target of a prank can sometimes cause someone to act aggressively. What's interesting here is that the prankster, who is already bothering people with his jump scares, responds with violence when someone doesn't take the joke well.

Weapons create paradoxes that are hard to resolve. In a country where they’re legal, those who don’t carry one put themselves at a disadvantage against those who do. But if everyone is armed, no one dares to use theirs because they know the other person might shoot first. And yet, in a country where they’re banned, the only ones who have them are those who don’t follow the law, leaving everyone else as defenseless targets.

The theory says that arming the population creates balance, a game of deterrence where the risk of retaliation keeps guns holstered. But reality is far messier. Owning a gun, in itself, can push you to use it in situations where you otherwise never would have considered it. A misunderstanding, a pointless road rage incident, a moment of anger… and suddenly, pulling the trigger feels like an option.

If no one carries weapons, there’s no dilemma. If everyone does, the risk is always there but kept in check by mutual fear. And between these two extremes, the paradox remains: allowing guns means that those who don’t carry them are at risk, banning them means only those already outside the law will have them. So the real question is: which scenario would you rather live in?

WINNING WITH ONE HAND

Jake "The One" Peacock is an Anglo-Canadian Muay Thai fighter who has gained international recognition for competing at the highest level despite being born without part of his right arm. His condition was caused by an amniotic band wrapping around his forearm during pregnancy, preventing it from fully developing.

His determination and adaptability allowed him to excel in the Canadian Muay Thai scene, leading him to participate in the Road to ONE: Canada tournament, where he won every fight and earned a contract with ONE Championship.

In April 2024, Peacock made his ONE Championship debut against Japan’s Kohei Shinjo at the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. He showcased his skill and resilience, dominating the fight and securing a unanimous decision victory.

BAD VIBES AT THE OPENING OF SHAQUILLE O'NEAL'S NEW RESTAURANT

The recent opening of a Big Chicken restaurant in Hartland, Michigan, didn't go as smoothly as planned. Big Chicken, a fast-food chain created in 2018 by basketball legend Shaquille O'Neal, is known for its Louisiana-style fried chicken sandwiches and other dishes inspired by O'Neal's childhood. Despite the presence of Shaquille O'Neal himself at the event, things got complicated for a small group of attendees.

A man with dreadlocks, frustrated because not everyone could get in immediately, made comments about having a weapon. The police, who were on site, decided to intervene and removed the man from the line. The situation escalated when two women accompanying him got involved, leading to a confrontation. In the end, three arrests were made, a toy gun was confiscated, and an officer was slightly injured.

HITS A SUPERMARKET MANAGER WITH A SHOVEL FOR NOT GIVING HIS WIFE A DAY OFF

In a supermarket in Sinop, Brazil, a man struck the manager with a shovel after his wife, an employee at the store, complained about not getting any days off. The attack was caught on video, showing how the manager, who was standing with his back turned while talking on the phone, was hit from the side. The impact was partially absorbed by the device, but he still suffered a significant head injury. Other employees managed to subdue the attacker, who was arrested and now faces attempted homicide charges.
