UNSATISFIED CUSTOMERS

The couple in the car have been waiting 25 minutes for their food to be served and when the employee finally takes the food to their car, they start telling him that they won't pay for it, because it's preposterous that they've had to wait so much time.
The employee apologizes on behalf of the restaurant, but the customers insist that they won't pay for the food after waiting for so much time.
I understand that the employee's reaction is not the most appropriate and he may lose his job but surely he felt so much better after what happened.
