I don't know at all what the context of the following video is, but everything points to the fact that the woman in the video is not mentally healthy, or at least not fully. Two different crosswalks, two different drivers. I think it's her thing.
There is also the possibility that she is a ghost, like the ghost of the curve, who hops into cars after hitchhiking and then warns drivers of the danger of the curve where she died. Well, maybe she was run over at a pedestrian crossing and since then she has dedicated herself to tormenting and messing with the cars that cross certain crosswalks.

Two young guys cross a crosswalk when a taxi that's going very fast is approaching them... one of the guys, instead of keep walking or run, decides to stop in the middle of the crosswalk with the apparent intention of making the vehicle stop. TIMES SQUARE MULTIPLE RUN-OVER

I found a video showing the Times Square run-over from multiple angles. 22 injured people and 1 woman dead. The driver's Richard Rojas (26), who has been arrested. Apparently, this former soldier had previously been arrested several times for driving drunk.
At the end of the video we can see how the driver gets out of the car, tries to run away and he's finally stopped by a cop and some citizens.
