THE NEW ATLAS IS FREAKY

For almost a decade, Atlas, the famous humanoid robot from Boston Dynamics, has piqued our interest and imagination, inspiring the next generations of robots. It's overcome countless technical barriers, to the point where we didn't know if many of the videos we've seen all these years were real or CGI.
But Atlas is retiring. The Atlas we know. It's retiring to make way for a new and revamped Atlas. As they used to say in old France: The king is dead, long live the king.

HERE COMES THE WOLF

For farmers and agriculturists, losses due to wild animals can be really high. Wild boars, deer, and other fauna can ruin entire crops. But once again, technology, robotics, and artificial intelligence can put a stop to all this plundering with this new "electro-predator."

Wolf Kamuy is a really ugly robot, like, super ugly, shaped like a wolf, created by your engineer brother-in-law. It has motion sensors and scares away animals that enter an area with noises and lights. Maybe in the not-so-distant future, it could even chase down prey and hunt them, devouring their furry bodies and spreading their guts to fertilize the land. Two for the price of one.

Only god knows whether or not we will end up having sex with androids. Sooner or later, the capitalist market will make available to us a wide range of humanoid robots designed, among other things, to satisfy our sexual needs, especially with how little we've been socializing in face-to-face format in recent years.

The first world has all its needs covered through the Internet, including social needs at an affective, sexual level and belonging to groups or collectives, therefore socializing in person is going to be increasingly tedious. So boring!
