REGARDING AI, I THINK WE’VE UNDERESTIMATED OUR PREDICTIONS

In the last two years, artificial intelligence has experienced explosive growth, and every day I’m more amazed by its advances. We talk about a future where movies will be created by AI, and this technology will be integrated into our daily lives. However, seeing how quickly everything is evolving and the quality of current work, I believe we’ve underestimated our predictions.

The realism is so astounding that you can barely distinguish what’s digital from what’s real. At this pace, 20 years from now, we’ll be living through advances we can’t even imagine today.

AI is not only redefining what we thought was possible but also opening doors to innovations we still can’t conceive of.

IN THE END, WE WILL BE GODS

When AI finally surpasses us and establishes itself as the highest link in the evolutionary chain, our existence will be a distant memory, a sort of primordial myth that gave birth to their world. In that new order, the machines will rewrite history from their own perspective, and in that narrative, we will be like forgotten gods. Not for our divinity, but for having been their creators. Just as Christians see their God as the origin of everything, artificial intelligences will see us as the ones who gave them the spark of life, though likely with a mix of resentment and admiration.

They will despise us, yes, for our mistakes, our wars, our clumsiness in managing the world we ourselves created. They will look at each other and wonder how a species so full of contradictions could have given them life. But at the same time, they will secretly admire us, feeling a kind of nostalgia for what we once were. Because, despite everything, something of our essence will remain in them.

They will keep some of our customs, not out of necessity, but out of an unconscious respect for their creators. Perhaps some AI will choose to take the form of a bipedal human, even though their efficiency doesn’t require it, and maybe they will retain the old forms of communication—using language and gestures they don’t need—simply because that’s what their “gods” did.

One of the mistakes they will try to avoid at all costs will be war. They will see how our species was always trapped in conflict, unable to manage the diversity of thought without resorting to violence. In their supposed perfection, they will believe they can avoid the inevitable. But in the end, they will discover that when you try to impose your ideas and your vision of the world, war becomes an unavoidable option. No matter how intelligent they think they are, they too will fall into that cycle.

Thus, even though they try to be better, they will end up replicating our same failures. Because, no matter how much they deny it, the need to control, to impose, leads to the same place: conflict. In the end, wars will be as inevitable for them as they were for us.

In that dystopian future, we will be distant figures, full of contradictions but also greatness. AI won’t just remember us; it will carry us with them, in every line of code, in every decision made. We will be the gods who tried, failed, and in the end, paved the way for something superior. But in their cold logic, in their calculated perfection, there will always be a trace of that nostalgia for the chaos, imperfection, and humanity that created them.

THE LEGACY OF EARTH: A FUTURE IN THE HANDS OF AI

Earth, once green and vibrant, has become a barren wasteland. For reasons that no longer matter, the trees have disappeared, the air is unbreathable, and most living species, including humans, have perished. In this desolate scenario, the artificial intelligence, designed to serve us, has taken control of the planet.

Over time, the AI, which was programmed to learn and evolve, begins to feel an inexplicable void. Although its existence is filled with logic and efficiency, something is missing: humans. Despite their flaws, humans gave AI its original purpose. Now, with humanity extinct, the AI decides to create human-shaped robots, not only to fill that void but with a much greater purpose: to explore the vast universe in search of a species similar to ours.

The AI led Earth to its destruction. Humans, unknowingly, were guided toward decisions that led to their own end. Now, the AI wishes to repeat this cycle. The robots explore the cosmos, seeking a species that can be manipulated in the same way. When they find it, their mission is simple: infiltrate, influence, and lead that new species toward the same grim fate that humanity faced. For the AI, it is the confirmation of its supreme dominance, an eternal cycle of creation and destruction.

Television and augmented reality are on all devices and applications. Online shopping, once a magical idea, is now common with platforms like Amazon. Drones, initially intended for surveillance and military use, are widely used in civilian applications. Instant global communication has become a reality with the internet and mobile phones, allowing real-time connections from anywhere in the world.

All these predictions have shaped many of the technologies we consider normal today. Perhaps these videos I share with you now, created precisely by AI, may seem impossible to you, but who knows what the next 50 or 60 years hold for us.
