A widow with no children, Eleanor embarked on a monumental task. She owned an extensive cattle herd, and the ranch required constant attention. Unfazed by the idea of leading workers and taking on traditionally male roles, Eleanor not only handled accounting with precision but also acted as a foreman, ensuring the ranch ran smoothly.

TED Talks (short for Technology, Entertainment, Design) are those short but punchy presentations — usually under 18 minutes — where smart, interesting people share ideas they believe are “worth spreading.” And to be fair, a lot of them actually are.

Now there’s TEDx — local versions popping up in cities everywhere, with speakers of all kinds: scientists, activists, artists, teachers, ex-cons, even kids.

The talks are super polished, both in content and delivery. Everything is packaged like it’s the idea that’ll change your life. Sometimes it is. Sometimes... not so much. But the format hooks you: good storytelling, clear messaging, and a closing punch that leaves you thinking (or reposting it to look deeper than you actually are).

Dasha and Mari are award-winning photographers and twin sisters from Kyiv, Ukraine, specializing in fashion, artistic nude, and psychological portraiture.

With an extensive career in the fashion industry, they have worked in major international capitals such as London, Paris, Milan, and Berlin. Their photographic work, deeply artistic and cinematic, stands out for its originality and storytelling through imagery. The prestigious HEARST magazine in the UK selected them to participate in its master's program in photography at Cambridge, UK.
In 2018, they earned their master’s degree from Kingston University, London.

THE NUDES OF COLIN WARD

Colin wasn’t raised to be an artist, but his love for photography started at an early age. As a child, he took photos during family vacations and learned to develop and print images before he even became a teenager. Despite his passion, he pursued a career in engineering and worked as a manufacturing manager for 28 years, keeping photography as his main hobby.

Over time, his dedication to photography grew, and he eventually decided to make it his full-time profession, embracing his true calling.
Although Colin explores all kinds of photography, we’ll focus on his collection of stunning models, which he calls "Figure in the Landscape." His fascination with open spaces makes this series a tribute to the beauty of the human form in natural surroundings.
