E-Thot is a term coined at the beginning of 2010 alongside the advent of social media platforms and the rise of streaming platforms. Certain streaming platforms allow users to browse locally (by proximity) so the streets of wealthier neighborhoods fill up with girls because that means much higher donations due to users' purchasing power.
