More and more people openly oppose the progress of Artificial Intelligence because they see their jobs at risk. I recently read about an illustrator who was ranting about AI and how it will destroy their industry. And it's true, AI is going to replace many professionals in various fields, but how far can we limit progress?

The most common example for this is usually the arrival of the printing press in the 15th century. One of the most significant changes was its influence on scribes and manual copyists, who used to be in charge of copying books and documents by hand before its invention.
The printing press significantly reduced the demand for this profession, as it could produce books much more efficiently and at a lower cost, leading to a decrease in job opportunities for copyists and manual scribes. Many of them were displaced and had to seek new occupations, but the printing press allowed for mass and rapid reproduction of texts, contributing to the spread of information and access to reading and education in general. Was it worth the price? I believe so.

If we're heading in the right direction, only time will tell. We probably won't witness it or be able to evaluate it, but these are the consequences of an Era change.

Think about it—just a few years ago, seeing an electric car on the road was rare, almost futuristic. Now it's unusual if you don't come across one every time you hit the road. And it's not just electric vehicles; hydrogen and other clean technologies are also advancing rapidly, leaving gasoline and diesel firmly in the rearview mirror.

All signs point to gas stations as we know them being on borrowed time. Maybe in a few years, those places will be transformed into charging stations, cafés, convenience stores, or some other business better suited to drivers of the future.
