GAS STATIONS WILL BECOME A THING OF THE PAST

It might not happen tomorrow or even next week, but the fate of traditional gas stations seems pretty clear. With the unstoppable rise of electric cars, hydrogen power, and other alternative energy sources, those mandatory pit stops for refueling gasoline might soon become nothing more than a nostalgic memory for future generations.

Think about it—just a few years ago, seeing an electric car on the road was rare, almost futuristic. Now it's unusual if you don't come across one every time you hit the road. And it's not just electric vehicles; hydrogen and other clean technologies are also advancing rapidly, leaving gasoline and diesel firmly in the rearview mirror.

All signs point to gas stations as we know them being on borrowed time. Maybe in a few years, those places will be transformed into charging stations, cafés, convenience stores, or some other business better suited to drivers of the future.

HOW MUCH TIME DO YOU SPEND AT A GAS STATION

Let's say an average driver visits the gas station once a week to refuel and usually spends about 10 minutes in total between queuing and refueling. That means, on average, if you add up all those times, you could spend around 3 weeks of your life at a gas station. At first glance, it may seem like not much, but damn, that's three weeks. They could at least make them more aesthetic and entertaining if you're going to spend 3 weeks of your life there.

AVOIDING CAR THEFT

Melissa Smith, a 28-year-old resident of Wisconsin, was at a gas station in downtown Milwaukee when she noticed a man getting into her car. Without hesitation, Melissa jumped onto the hood of the vehicle and clung to the windshield wipers while the thief tried to escape. Although she acknowledges that it may not have been the most sensible option, Melissa acted on instinct to prevent her car from being stolen. Fortunately, she was not injured and managed to persuade the thief to abandon the plan.

Security cameras in the Barcelona metro captured the moment when a man of Maghrebi origin began attacking women he encountered along the way. He was arrested and released because most of the women had taken the metro and could not testify. Later in the day, the main victim seen in the video filed a complaint and presented a medical report showing a perforated eardrum. That same evening, the man was arrested and taken to a penitentiary center as he had several prior convictions.
