Technology moves faster than we do. Electric cars already feel outdated, and self-driving ones are making it clear: steering wheels are becoming pointless. Maybe in the future we’ll glide around in individual pods on magnetic rails, with every movement monitored by a citywide AI system. Or maybe we won’t move at all — with the rise of the metaverse, virtual spaces, and direct neural connections, travel might become a purely mental experience.
But while all that’s still loading, we like to believe that cars still have one last mission.

Here at ALRNCN, we want to pay tribute to this glorious age of the automobile with a video selection that, let’s be honest, won’t change the future — but will definitely make it more fun. RETURN OF THE JEDI, FOUR DECADES LATER

Last week I told you about the project being developed by the Polish startup Volonaut — a speeder bike that looks like it came straight out of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, that gem which hit theaters 42 years ago.

Well, they’ve just dropped two new videos where the prototype is shown much more clearly, and for a moment, you can almost feel what it would be like to fly one of these bikes. You may not be on Endor, but riding it might just be the closest we've ever come.

Since she couldn’t move inside the scanner, the orgasm didn’t come from using her hands. She got there just by contracting her pelvic floor muscles. No touching. Just muscle control and focus.

The result? More than 30 different areas of the brain were activated during orgasm. Not just the usual suspects tied to pleasure and touch, but also regions linked to emotion, memory, language, coordination, and even pain. In fact, one of the most active areas was the periaqueductal gray — a part of the brain that works like a natural painkiller. In other words, when the body feels good, it self-medicates.

This study was a game-changer in how we understand female orgasm. It’s not just about genitals or physical stimulation. It’s a deep, complex brain process that lights up the entire nervous system. Masturbating isn’t “wasting time” — it’s literally putting your brain into one of its highest states of activity.

RAMS INTO COP AND GETS SHOT

What started as a routine police check in Bismarck, North Dakota, ended in tragedy. On March 7, police shot and killed 53-year-old Melanie Udell after she rammed an officer with her car. The whole thing was caught on bodycam.

Officers Matthew James and Nathan Anderson responded to a suspicious vehicle call. A witness had reported a disoriented woman inside a white Chevy, even fearing she might try to run him over. When they arrived, Officer James began calmly talking to Udell—until he caught a strong smell of weed and booze. He asked her to step out, but she refused. Instead, she started the engine and drove straight at him.
James barely dodged the car, but Udell wasn’t done. She turned the wheel, hit the gas, and slammed into him. He went flying into a fence, lost his weapon, and ended up partially trapped under the barrier—right in the car’s path.

At that point, Officer Anderson opened fire, killing Udell behind the wheel. Her car stopped in a snowbank just a few feet from the injured officer.
James was hospitalized with injuries to his head, leg, and hands. He’s been discharged but will need knee surgery and is expected to be out of service for about a year.
The Bureau of Criminal Investigation ruled that Anderson’s use of force was justified. Both officers are currently on leave pending further review.
