Moreover, if they made the same noise to fill seats in leadership positions as they do for jobs in construction, mining, oil wells, septic tank cleaning, maintenance work on power lines, and other well-paying jobs—and on top of that, put in extra hours, doubled shifts, and worked weekends like many of the men in those positions do to support their families—surely, in the end, the gap would become a thing of the past.
