HERE COMES THE WOLF

For farmers and agriculturists, losses due to wild animals can be really high. Wild boars, deer, and other fauna can ruin entire crops. But once again, technology, robotics, and artificial intelligence can put a stop to all this plundering with this new "electro-predator."

Wolf Kamuy is a really ugly robot, like, super ugly, shaped like a wolf, created by your engineer brother-in-law. It has motion sensors and scares away animals that enter an area with noises and lights. Maybe in the not-so-distant future, it could even chase down prey and hunt them, devouring their furry bodies and spreading their guts to fertilize the land. Two for the price of one.

About 10 years ago, we featured the work of Art4wed, a company created by photographers Margarita Relina and Nikita Kovalev. Today, while taking a stroll to find some cool photographer to talk about, I stumbled upon Nikita Kovalev's profile on the VK social network by pure coincidence.

Since it had been so long since that post published in 2013, I thought it would be a good idea to check out his latest photos. But as I scrolled through the pictures, the alarm bells started ringing. These are AI-generated images! I'm not sure if he created them himself or if they belong to someone else and he added them to his profile.
I also don't know if they are completely computer-generated or if they are his own photos edited with AI or some software. But here's a sample of what I saw while browsing his account. Let's see if you can differentiate between the photos and the AI-generated images.
