MANDATORY MOBILIZATION

Videos have been circulating for months showing Ukrainian men of fighting age being stopped on the street and taken away by force to enlist. The government needs soldiers, and with not enough volunteers stepping forward, “mandatory mobilization” is starting to look a lot like legalized kidnapping.
And yes, this is happening right now in a European country. Not under our flag, but with a passport disturbingly similar to ours. Thinking this couldn’t happen here is either wishful thinking or pure amnesia.
Because if a war breaks out tomorrow and you’re of military age, you’d better hope you're not out delivering sushi on your bike.

Like this delivery guy in Kyiv, who gets stopped mid-shift. A van pulls up, a quick exchange happens, then some struggling, and finally they shove him inside. All filmed from a balcony. No filters. No edits.

EMPTYING MAGAZINES

A hostage situation ended with a bunch of police officers with their magazines emptier than the average male's balls after visiting xvideos.
I can understand a couple of situations out of this. The first is that they didn't want the criminal to suffer, like when you were little, you hurt a lizard and you ended up crushing it with a huge stone "so it doesn't suffer."
The second is that they are looking forward to using their guns and for once they finally can, they let themselves go so they ended up running out of bullets.

SHOT DOWN

A fugitive manages to entrench himself with a hostage in a guardhouse. The police forces cornered him and the kidnapper threatened the hostage with a knife. An agent performed an unexpected and accurate headshot to the criminal which granted an innocent person with another day to live.
It must be recognized that the shot is risky, taking into account the situation; sun is out but is dark inside the guardhouse, the kidnapper and hostage are moving, not an easy shot.

HOSTAGE SITUATION IN AN APPLE STORE IN AMSTERDAM

An armed man broke into an Apple Store in the Leidseplein neighborhood, Amsterdam. What at first seemed like a robbery, ended up becoming a hostage situation.
When the police arrived, the man opened fire and barricaded himself into the premises with a hostage (Apparently there were four other hostages who had locked themselves in a room when the shooting began).
The images, photos and videos began to circulate on social media and ended up becoming an "event" followed live by hundreds of thousands of people.
After several hours, the hostage managed to escape and the kidnapper ran after him, at which point he is hit by a police car from the secret service.
