THE 100% OF OUR BRAIN
sm
There is a false belief that we only use 10% of our brain, and I say false belief because current neuroscience techniques have shown that we actually use every area of our brain. This idea has its origin in something written by William James (1842/1910), considered the father of Psychology in the United States, who stated that most people only use a small part of their intellectual potential; this doesn't mean that we do not use our entire brain, but that some are smarter than others.
Anyway, it is more fun to think that we only use a small part of our abilities, assuming that if we control our brain completely we would have superpowers, enabling us to move objects, read people's minds, be able to fly or even stop time.
