Set thirty years after the original film, the story follows a replicant blade runner named K discovering the remains of a replicant woman who was apparently pregnant at some point in the past, which is seemingly impossible. To prevent a potential war between humans and replicants, K secretly undertakes the task of finding the child and destroying all evidence related to him, leading him to discover that the child is linked to the missing blade runner Rick Deckard.
