STRANGLING A CLIENT BECAUSE HE DIDN'T WANT TO PAY

One always has to remember the cause and effect diagram. Each one of our actions provoke consequences. Even if you decide to do nothing, you could cause something to happen or to not happen. Consider if you're ok with the effect and act accordingly.
Take a look at this client, for example. He wants to leave without paying at a bar (or, according to his wife, he just wanted to go fetch some money), but the waiter, probably wanting to look as an alpha male in front of her female boss, decides to strangle the client and beat him.
So, look, the waiter didn't want to lose 20 or 50 bucks or whatever, but now he may be forced to pay thousands of dollars to the client. He could even go to jail and get fired.
Don't you think calling the police was a better option? Remember: cause / effect.
