Tattooing hurts. Perhaps a small tattoo is more bearable but a large tattoo, lasting several hours, that's going to hurt whether you like it or not. Hence, you want to get tattooed again after X time. And I'm telling you, I have more than half of my body tattooed.
The best thing you can do to make the session as bearable as possible is to try to isolate yourself from that pain, because as you focus on it, it will become hell.
Try to focus your mind on positive thinking, listen to music, watch videos, talk to someone, all that makes your brain look away for a while. You must distract your mind, trick it, get it out of there.
