Last week, we shared one of those videos that leave you with a crooked smile and a strange sense of hope. A slow-motion parade of fists landing right on the faces ofbillionaires and capitalist leaders who’ve turned the global economy into a rigged casino — one where they always win, and the rest of us are stuck juggling debt, digital addictions, and shitty wages.

Today, it’s time for the other side of the board.

This new video follows the same vibe, but now the ones getting smacked are the historical icons of socialism and communism who, in the name of “the people,” managed to wreck entire nations. We’re not just talking about a few current leaders — though some do make an appearance — but about the poster boys of an ideology that promised justice and freedom, only to deliver poverty, dependency, and large-scale repression.

Bearded icons immortalized on t-shirts, dictators with catchy revolutionary anthems, intellectuals who, from the comfort of their privilege, sketched out utopias that turned into nightmares. One by one, they’re now lining up to receive their well-earned symbolic punch… or broom smack.

This isn’t about left or right. It’s about what happens when power dresses up as salvation and ends up being just the opposite.
And how damn satisfying it is to see them — even if just in a video — finally catch a punch.

"Shaggy Dog" is a franchise that includes several movies released over the decades.

"The Shaggy Dog" (1959) is the original Disney film. The story follows a teenager named Wilby Daniels who transforms into an Old English Sheepdog due to a magical ring. In "The Shaggy D.A." (1976), the sequel, Wilby Daniels is now an adult and a lawyer, who once again transforms into a dog while trying to become a district attorney.

I’m not sure if the punch scene or the rope descent is better.

THE REAL-LIFE VERSION OF THE DICTATOR

What happened a couple of years ago at the Tohopekaliga Tiger Invitational in Kissimmee, Florida, seems like something straight out of a Sacha Baron Cohen comedy. During a high school race, one competitor decided that rules didn’t apply to him and, instead of overtaking his rival with effort, opted for the quick route: a surprise punch.

Apparently, this runner wasn’t even officially part of the race, but he decided it was the perfect time to recreate that epic scene from "The Dictator," where the protagonist, gun in hand, ensures there’s no competition left on the track.
