I DON'T TRUST MYSELF ENOUGH TO TRUST YOU

One of the main reasons to promote the acceptance and corresponding use and sale of autonomous cars is that the highest percentage of road accidents is due to human error. From distractions while driving, speeding, and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs to lack of attention or disobedience of traffic signals. But does that mean that autonomous cars don't make mistakes?

AUTONOMOUS CARS

It is plausible that in the future, travel will be exclusively in autonomous cars. Autonomous vehicles, also known as self-driving cars, have been under development and testing in recent years. The idea that these vehicles use advanced technologies such as sensors, cameras, radars, and artificial intelligence systems to drive safely without human intervention can significantly reduce traffic accidents caused by human errors, such as distractions or fatigue. This is especially true when only autonomous vehicles are on the roads, as they can communicate with each other to optimize traffic flow, reduce congestion, and improve transportation efficiency and safety.

By freeing occupants from the duty of driving, travel in autonomous cars could allow people to use their time more productively, such as working or resting during the journey, among other things.

AUTONOMOUS CARS CAUSING MAJOR TRAFFIC JAMS

Robotaxis have taken over many of the main cities in the USA. These driverless autonomous cars are being used as taxis to transport people from one side of the city to the other. As you can imagine, these robotaxis are causing traffic jams, chaotic moments, and even accidents. Just imagine the frustration of the other drivers. I'm not sure what's worse, the traffic jam itself or not having a driver to vent all your anger at.
