WHAT'S BEHIND VTUBERS

Let me set the scene for you: Vtuber is an acronym for "Virtual Youtuber." These are animated characters or avatars using virtual tools with an anime aesthetic. Vtubers are predominantly female characters.

Youna Kang is a South Korean-American Twitch streamer and YouTuber known for her online character CodeMiko, boasting nearly 1 million followers on Twitch where she livestreams.
To better understand how it works, a VTuber's avatar achieves animation using a webcam and software that captures the streamer's movements, expressions, especially mouth movements, and maps them onto 2D or 3D models. The creative possibilities with this technology are vast, and it's still in its early stages, much like many things today. Imagine what it could be in 20 years.

Getting to the point, Youna Kang recently shared images of herself and CodeMiko using real-time 3D technology called Unreal Engine 5, and the results are increasingly impressive.

INFLUENCER CAUSES MAYHEM IN NY

Kai Cenat, streamer, youtuber and influencer with more than 15M followers on his networks, had the brilliant idea of having a public meeting with his followers in Union Square Park in New York, to raffle off video game consoles, games, controllers and other promotional items, and things ended up getting out of hand to the point that the police had to activate a level-four rapid mobilization protocol, the most urgent level to deal with disasters.

The area was invaded by more than 2,000 young people wanting to have a good time, and we already know how some young people have fun today: fights, robberies, looting, destruction of furniture and cars, etc.

Cenat had to be evacuated for "security reasons" and now faces charges of inciting a riot and promoting an illegal gathering in New York City.

ISHOWSPEED RECEIVES A 1,5 MILLION DONATION

Darren Watkins Jr., better known as IShowSpeed, is a controversial American YouTuber and streamer. His livestrean, from what I have read, is mainly focused on video games, and he amassed quite a few million followers on the main social media platforms. Apparently in one of his livestreams, while hanging out with some friends, a user donated 1.5 million to him.
